๐Ÿ“Œ Does this cost anything?

There is no cost to families for preventive services provided through Teaching Tiny Teeth.
We bill Medicaid or private insurance when available.
If a child is uninsured, services may be provided at no cost.

Availability may vary based on program resources and school participation.

๐Ÿ“Œ What services will my child receive?

Your child will receive:

  • A dental cleaning
  • A fluoride treatment
  • Dental sealants (if needed)
  • An oral health screening
  • Digital x-raysย
  • Fun, age-appropriate dental education
  • A FREE Toothbrush

๐Ÿ‘‰ Important:
We will only provide the services that you, as the parent or guardian, consent to.
No services will be performed without signed parental approval.

๐Ÿ“Œ Will my child receive x-rays?

Yes

They are quick, safe, and use minimal radiation.

X-rays help us find cavities and dental issues that may not be visible during a regular exam, allowing us to catch problems early.

๐Ÿ“ŒHow will I know what services my child received?

After each visit, you will receive aย personalized reportย summarizing your child’s services, screening results, and any recommendations for further care if needed..

๐Ÿ“Œ What if my child already sees a dentist?

Teaching Tiny Teeth focuses on preventive care and education.
Even if your child already sees a dentist regularly, additional cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants can help strengthen and protect their smile between regular dental office visits.

๐Ÿ“Œ Is it safe for my child to receive dental services at school?

Absolutely!
All services are provided by licensed, background-checked professionals who follow strict infection control, HIPAA, and FERPA privacy standards.
We create a safe, caring environment right at school.

For Schools:

๐Ÿ“Œ What is required from the school?

Very little!
We handle scheduling, consent forms, communication with families, and setup.
We simply ask schools to provide a small space for services and help distribute information to parents.

๐Ÿ“Œ How often do you visit?

We visit every six months to provide preventive care and follow-up, helping children stay on track with their dental health year-round.

๐Ÿ“Œ What equipment do you bring?

We use portable dental equipment that fits easily into classrooms, libraries, or nurseโ€™s offices โ€” whatever space you have available.
All equipment is sanitized following strict infection control protocols.

๐Ÿ“Œ Are you HIPAA and FERPA compliant?

Yes!
Teaching Tiny Teeth is fully compliant with all HIPAA (health privacy) and FERPA (education privacy) regulations.
We take student health information privacy very seriously.
